"That's one of those things that'll always replay in your head, like, oh, that happened," Kristen continued. "Why? WHY?!" Looks like Billy Corgan is ready to re-start The Smashing Pumpkins with an entirely new line-up, and is holding open auditions to find a new bassist and keyboard player!! Ginger Pooley , the band's bassist, quit last week to focus on her family, and since Corgan was successful in finding a new drummer last year through an audition process, he's ready to try it again!! Corgan says: "Although I am heartbroken that Ginger is leaving the group, I really respect her decision to put her family first. I appreciate everything that she has contributed to The Smashing Pumpkins, and I'm proud of her for being such a great musician and friend. We were lucky enough to find drummer Mike Byrne through an open audition process, so why not open the doors again to anyone who might be interested for the bass or keyboard position. As you can see from our past and present, age, race, or a person's background is not an issue. You wouldn't think that an Oscar-winning film would have any trouble at the box-office. You wouldn't think, but it is so! Summit Entertainment finds itself in quite a pickle this week as it has tried to repitch The Hurt Locker to movie theater chains for another release and no one seems to be biting. For example, Regal Theaters flat out said no, citing the problem is not the film itself, but the fact that it is already on DVD. Understandable, but it seems to us that it is the kind of flick that is best appreciated on the big screen and with all the buzz, an extra week in theaters couldn't hurt. What do U think? Amazing!!! Today is the first day that same-sex couples can legally marry in Washington D.C., making it the sixth place in the United States where marriage equality is legal. The first couple to do so this morning in our nation's capital was Angelisa Young and Sinjoyla Townsend. They were married in the office of the Human Rights Campaign followed by two other couples. Congratulations!
